PPHS Closing the Achievement Gap
There are schools already doing this work and overperforming when it comes to the academic outcomes of Black students.
Schools like Purdue Polytechnic High School's Englewood campus, where more than 20% of Black students passed both the English and math portions of the 10th-grade ISTEP exam last year; higher than the average pass rate for Black students statewide on the exam last year which was 13.6%.
