Acceptable Use and DeVICE AGREEMENT Policy
Introduction
This acceptable use and Device Agreement policy is intended to support the mission and vision of Purdue Polytechnic High School and the learning of its staff and students. In order to reinvent high school, PPHS students and staff shift from traditional teaching models to one that embraces communication, collaboration, and innovation with the infusion of technology. To this end, PPHS provides devices and tools that access the internet as an integral part of its instructional program. This policy is not intended to cover every possible prohibited activity; rather, it establishes procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe and productive digital environment for the users at PPHS. PPHS is a 1:1 school and students are to take their devices home each night.

Students will use their G Suite accounts to complete assignments, communicate with their teachers, and learn 21st-century digital citizenship skills. There may be times where additional services beyond GSuite core apps will be used to enhance the learning experience for the students. If you do not wish for your student to use the additional Google Services, please contact the school.
BYOD (bring your own device):
PPHS provides each student and staff member with a Chromebook and additional technology to meet their needs. Therefore, we do not recommend that students or staff bring their own computer or laptop. Devices brought from home are not the responsibility of PPHS and are not supported by the technology department and its staff.
