A native of Indianapolis, Chisley brings a wealth of experience and passion for education to the board, having dedicated her career to championing high-quality education and supporting schools and nonprofit organizations nationwide.
Chisley's journey in education began as a Teach for America corps member in St. Louis, where her exceptional teaching skills quickly garnered recognition. She was nominated for the Sue Lehman Teacher of the Year Award and achieved the highest proficiency rates for English Language Arts in the charter network where she taught. Over the years, her dedication to education led her to take on leadership roles, eventually founding Chisley Consulting Group, a firm specializing in charter school and nonprofit organization support, executive coaching, strategy & systems development, and workshops for educators and business leaders.
