Partners in Training

Indianapolis has a national reputation as a thriving tech hub. What skills do you need to join the newest generation of tech workers? Kenzie Academy, an Indianapolis-based design and coding school, has been eager to help Purdue Polytechnic High School students answer that question.

Kenzie Academy trains its students with the necessary technical and workplace skills, mindset, and confidence to launch a rewarding career in technology. The academy hosted a summer coding event for Purdue Polytechnic High School students to introduce them to opportunities in the tech field and the traditional and not-so-traditional pathways to a tech career.

“It’s important to expose students to coding and the pathways to careers,” said Jake Stuart, Director of Growth Marketing. “There are alternatives to traditional (classroom) education, and hands-on learning is a really good way to progress in the technology field.”
