Applying to South Bend
Purdue Polytechnic High School South Bend will operate on a lottery-based enrollment system. Purdue Polytechnic High School is a Free Public Charter School open to any incoming 9th or 10th-grade student. PPHS South Bend will enroll up to 100 students per grade.

Our priority application lottery process will begin on November 1st of 2021 remain open until January 29th. After lottery results are released in early February. If there are seats available after February 1st, we will implement a first-come, first-serve application window until the school reaches capacity.
Students that have been accepted into Purdue Polytechnic High School South Bend will be notified by email and phone.
There are no GPA requirements, tests or fees required to attend PPHS. All students from anywhere in the South Bend area, regardless of current academic standing are encouraged to apply!
Critical Dates for PPHS South Bend
- November 1st - Applications for the 2022 school year are available
- January 29th - Applications for the 2022 school year are reviewed and the lottery window closes.
- February 1st - Applications for the 2022 school year are opened on a first come, first serve basis.
Applying to Indianapolis North or Indianapolis Downtown
Both PPHS Indianapolis North and PPHS Downtown are part of Indianapolis’ common enrollment system called Enroll Indy. All students within the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) system who are attending high school for the first time or those who are transferring schools need to sign up with Enroll Indy and select Purdue Polytechnic High School as their first choice.
If you are a student who is coming to Purdue Polytechnic High School from a non-IPS school system, from a private school, or a charter school, you must register with Enroll Indy.
Enroll Indy allows students the opportunity to participate in a common enrollment system without the need to remember different schools’ enrollment deadlines or worrying that they don’t have the connections to get into the “top schools.”

Students who are admitted to either campus at Purdue Polytechnic High School have the opportunity to transfer campuses if space permits.
