PURDUE POLYTECHNIC HIGH SCHOOLs’ celebrates Coach Nicole Schadek’s selection as a top 10 Finalist for the 2025 Indiana teacher of the year award

Indianapolis, IN, August 2, 2024—Purdue Polytechnic High Schools (PPHS) is thrilled to announce that Nicole Schadek has advanced to the Top 10 for the 2025 Indiana Teacher of the Year Award. This prestigious honor underscores her exceptional contributions to education and her profound impact on students both in and out of the classroom.

Coach Schadek, renowned for her commitment to student development, has been an inspiring figure at PPHS. Her innovative methods and dedication to creating a supportive and engaging environment have made her a standout educator in Indiana.

Previously recognized as a Top 25 Finalist, Coach Schadek’s advancement to the Top 10 highlights her remarkable achievements and dedication to her students. She was also honored as PPHS Englewood's Teacher of the Year, an accolade voted for by her peers, students, families, and members of the PPHS team.

The Indiana Teacher of the Year Program (INTOY) annually honors the state’s most outstanding educators, celebrating those who go above and beyond to inspire and uplift their students. The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) shared the following message about the INTOY finalists in their latest press release.
