Purdue Polytechnic High School Englewood Robotics Wins Second Consecutive State Championship

Indianapolis, IN (April 9, 2025) – The suPURDUEper Robotics Team (#7457) from Purdue Polytechnic High School (PPHS) Englewood has once again secured the title of FIRST Robotics Competition Indiana State Champion. This marks their second consecutive year winning the prestigious competition, this year as the captain of an alliance that included teams from Carmel, Plainfield, and Harrison High Schools.

The PPHS Englewood team, guided by coach Andy Mundell and dedicated mentors, showcased exceptional engineering prowess, collaborative spirit, and strong problem-solving abilities throughout the competition. Their outstanding performance earned them the championship and the highest score in the entire state competition.

This victory underscores the effectiveness of the hands-on, project-based STEM education model at Purdue Polytechnic High Schools and highlights the dedication of the students and their mentors. The team will now advance to the World Championship in Houston.
