Purdue university summer start program 

PPHS students who meet minimum requirements can earn Purdue college credits and experience life on campus FREE of charge. Students will take college courses with Purdue students and faculty. Case Study: Partners in Training

Indianapolis has a national reputation as a thriving tech hub. What skills do you need to join the newest generation of tech workers? Kenzie Academy, an Indianapolis-based design and coding school, has been eager to help Purdue Polytechnic High School students answer that question. 

Case study: Eskenazi Health

Learning may begin in the classroom, but for the Purdue Polytechnic High School students who tour The Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, it extends to the halls and rooftop of the Marion County hospital.  The hospital hosts tours to give students a glimpse into healthcare careers and the daily operations of a hospital. As an added bonus, PPHS students tour Eskenazi’s rooftop Sky Farm, a nationally recognized urban garden that produces fresh produce to feed patients, visitors and employees.

Enrollment demand for Purdue’s innovative high school leads to second location

Purdue Polytechnic High School (PPHS) Downtown will take residence in its permanent location inside the former P.R. Mallory factory building in the 3000 block of East Washington Street after renovations are completed in mid-2019. In addition, school officials are nearing completion of their plans to open a second charter high school on Indianapolis’ north side, expanding their ability to serve urban high school students

High school students pitch product ideas in Fair Oaks Farms competition

Purdue Polytechnic High School students traveled from Indianapolis to West Lafayette in late November for final presentations in a “pitch competition” sponsored by Fair Oaks Farms and Belstra Milling.

The competition was part of the high school’s 2017-18 student project challenge in which Fair Oaks Farms asked, “How will Indiana contribute to feeding nine billion people without overwhelming the planet by 2050?”
