Purdue Polytechnic High School dedicates new downtown Indianapolis school building

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Purdue Polytechnic High School in Indianapolis has found a new, permanent home for teaching and learning.

The new location for the school, the P.R. Mallory building on East Washington Street in Indianapolis, has a rich history, once home to the Indianapolis Indians baseball team, Wonderland Amusement Park and a battery factory location for P.R. Mallory and Co. Inc. Most recently, there have been no occupants, with the building remaining vacant for almost 30 years.
